Before we confirm your booking, we just ask customers to quickly review the information below so everything runs smoothly on the day.

This simply explains:

• what we clean
• how bookings and deposits work
• what to expect when we arrive

This takes approx 30 seconds to complete, thank you.

1. What We Clean

Tile & Grout Monster provides specialist cleaning and restoration services for:

  • Wall tiles

  • Floor tiles

  • Grout lines

  • Silicone replacement (where agreed in advance)

Our professional systems are designed specifically for tile and grout surfaces.

We do not clean:

  • Toilets

  • Sinks

  • Baths

  • Shower screens

  • Chrome fittings

  • General household cleaning

Any items outside of tile and grout surfaces are excluded from our service.

2. A Quick Note About Older Tiles

In some homes, especially older bathrooms or floors, tiles and grout may already have wear or hidden damage.

Examples can include:

• loose grout
• cracked tiles
• hollow tiles
• old silicone
• previous water damage

Our cleaning process may reveal issues that were not visible beforehand.

If we notice anything concerning when we arrive, we will always discuss it with you before starting work.

3. Quoting From Photos

Most quotes are provided from photos sent via WhatsApp.

If the actual condition of the tiles is significantly different from the photos provided, we may need to review the price before starting the work.

This helps ensure the job is priced fairly for both sides.

4. Access On The Day

To help the job run smoothly we ask that:

• the area being cleaned is clear of personal items, especially Great Aunt Maud’s Priceless Ming Vase
• pets are secured
• parking is available near the property
• an outside tap is available if we are cleaning floors

5. Cancellation

Because we schedule our work carefully, we do try and accommodate our customers because we understand life can happen and therefore would appreciate notice if plans change

• More than 48 hours notice – no charge
• 24–48 hours notice – £50 cancellation fee
• Less than 24 hours notice – up to 25% of the job value
• No access on arrival – £75 call-out charge

6. Deposits

To secure larger bookings we sometimes require a deposit.

• Jobs under £350 – no deposit required
• Jobs between £350 and £500 – £150 deposit
• Jobs over £500 – 50% deposit

Appointments are confirmed once any required deposit has been received.

Deposits may be moved to another appointment if more than 48 hours notice is given.

7. Payment

All remaining balances are due on the same day the work is completed.

Payment confirmation must be received before the team leaves the property.
